You are going to have a outdoor party? Don't know what games you can play with your friends? It doesn't matter, Here we will shou you some little funnt.
Backyard?
If you don’t have a backyard (or one that’s large enough for everyone), you could think about trying to find a park close to where the party is, where you can take the party goers for some of the party. If you’re planning on doing this, you should ensure you have adequate adult supervision.
Good for everyone
Outdoor party games are enjoyed by children, but they are also ideal for the adults. They do not only give the children a chance to use some of their never-ending energy, they allow the children to exerise and enable you to concentrate on things inside the house (e.g. putting out the party food, setting the table and lighting the cake's candles). Bad weather is needn’t be an excuse, provided you’ve got the children to bring a change of clothes for afterwards.
Hide and seek
Of course, “Hide and Seek” has more scope when played outside; however if you are in a park, you should make it clear to the children what the area restrictions are. Trampolines are always good fun.
Dodge Ball
"Dodge Ball" is among my children's favorite outdoor party games. This can be played the traditional way (dividing the children into teams and letting them throw balls made of sponge at each other) or by making one person the thrower (and whoever the thrower can hit with a ball replaces them as the thrower). This can also be varied so that if someone is made a thrower more than twice or however many times you decide, they become a permanent thrower. Ensure you have enough sponge balls (about the size of a soccer ball); five should be enough.
Scavenger Hunts
Another great game is "Scavenger Hunt". This is straightforward to set up in your own backyard; if you do so in a park or other public place, you could discover that some of the sweets have been taken by people who aren't playing!
What's The Time?
"What's the time Mr Jelly?" is a game my girls simply love playing. We usually have an adult playing the part of Mr Jelly (who can only run after the children with wibbly wobbly legs!).
Using balloons
Balloon games are also fun. You could play "Tag" or "Dodge Ball" with water balloons (this game is better in the summer); or you could hold a race to see who can pop the largest number of balloons.
Hula hoops
My children adore playing any games using hula hoops! "Hula Marathon" is where the winner is the person who can keep the hula hoop spinning on their hips the longest and “Hula’s Got Ya” where you have to catch people using the hula hoop; the list is endless!
Swimtime
Swimming games are an excellent idea. “Mermaid Girl” is where the children have to swim like mermaids (or maybe fish...) and “Dry Hand” is where everyone swims but tries to keep one of their hands out of the water. These games depend on whether the group can swim.
Final thoughts
All of these outdoor party games can be played by individuals or in teams, but it’s always good to include a mix to ensure everyone can be included and has a great time. Have fun!
